Applications are online now.

It has been a very busy month (and I’m not just talking about shoveling snow!). The application to the Arts Festival is now available online at www.Zapplication.org. The deadline for applications is February 28. Why get your application in early? Because the priority for booth requests and corner booths is based on when the application was received. Also, if there is any problems with your app or images, I am able to notify you and allow you to make changes. If you wait until the last minute, I won’t be able to do that. Already I have had several artists that needed changes made. Behind the scenes we are working on all of the aspects of the show that will help make it very successful for everyone. More details as those are confirmed. Stay tuned and stay warm……

  1. I see in the application that a “booth shot” is required. I was in the 4M Contemporary Show in Saugerties, NY, in 2005 but in my move to Colorado, I have misplaced my one and only booth shot. Does this now mean that I can’t apply to this show? Or is it ok to set up my booth in my driveway and hang my work in it and shoot it for you for my booth shot? Perhaps there are other artists like me out there who have this same question but are too embarrassed, like me to ask it…

    Thanks…

  2. Joanna, yes it is fine to set up your booth and shoot it (a lot of artists do that so as to control the lighting, etc.). If the weather doesn’t cooperate with you just set up your panels in your house and shoot the art there. The booth slide is mostly so the jurors can see the quality of how you display and also to see how large your pieces are in comparison to the walls. Thanks for asking for those artists that may not have asked. Jim DeLutes, Director.
